If you have 7.1 Surround in the speaker configuration (5.1 Surround should also be enough), then you are done here. Practically all music, online videos and even many games are only in stereo so you'll get full benefits of HeSuVi with these. There is even an option to upmix stereo to 7.1 surround in the Additional tab.
